While there are parts of the conservative\fascist media ecosystem that is laudable, it's built on lies and propagating lies in furtherance of an ideology that is inherently self-destructive. We need to build a media infrastructure that divorces ideology from reality. It's not bad to have an ideology, but it must be in service to reality. It also needs to be proactive not reactive. Essentially, we need to be ten steps ahead of the crazies, not a step behind playing catchup.
