Phil McGraw has long struck me as an anti-intellectual posing as an intellectual and believes himself to be much smarter than he actually is. He's deeply foolish, ignorant, and selfish man. And dishonest to boot. He wants to claim to be a centrist to keep from being dismissed by both sides but ends up being dismissed by both sides who either see him as disingenuous or not pure enough. Finally, he's long since been shown to be cruel and yet tries to pretend to be caring. "Tough love," as they say. He shows a lot of the tough (albeit phony tough) and none of the love.

Oprah is an awful person. Always has been. She was just as trashy as the tabloid talk show hosts that were her contemporaries, she just successfully rebranded where they kept being trash.

@TheBarkinFrog There are many. The present themselves as centrist or independent then parrot exclusively right-wing talking points. It's like Libertarians claiming to be somehow not the same as Republicans, but vote exclusively with the Republican agenda.

@leftoverporkchop9972 YOU inferred he wasn't any sort of doctor and is pretending to be one for TV. I inferred that he was a doctor and lost his license or had it stripped from him due to incompetence or malpractice, which is usually the case when someone refers to any sort of medical professional not being licensed. Stop looking for reasons to disagree with people.

Most people don't even know when the Confederate statues were erected. Hint, it wasn't contemporary or even immediately following the destruction of the Confederacy. Second hint, it was as a giant white middle finger to black people who were getting "uppity" when they were seeking equal rights.
