  2. It's bad enough we already don't pay teachers well to do their job educating our youth, grading papers, creating lesson plans. Now they want them to qualify on a gun range and run drills like a police officer too? Plus, if you think there were a lot of dead at this shooting, wait until there is crossfire. If you don't want to deal with gun violence and you're unwilling to change gun laws and fix our sick and toxic gun culture in this country, then what we need are teachers teaching children and armed police stationed at every entrance to the school.

  3. You want to see a lot of dead children, arm teachers, pay them little, stress them out a ton, and watch the bullets fly. Barring that, another crazy mass shooter goes into the school, he starts shooting, each and every teacher freaks out and get their guns out and let's see how many die due to crossfire or innocent people mistaken as the shooter.
