  1. It's dangerous to rely on polls. People think they reflect reality when what the reflect is the opinions of poll takers. People willing to take a poll are people interested in what the poll is asking. A lot of people who aren't interested in taking polls will still be voting and they might not vote in the same percentages as the ones who did take the poll, not to mention sometime people who take polls might not bother voting.
