Of course, the right wants people to be true to themselves. What that means to the right is what your genitals are and what your skin color is, is who you are. You are what they want you to be, and that's the truth as far as they're concerned. No fancy ideas like gender or being different. God made you, God is always right, and, lo and behold, they speak for God.

They want everyone to raise their children for them. TV, video games, the internet, schools, the government. They think these make good substitute parents. They do not. A good parent raises good children, and it doesn't matter what the kids are exposed to if they did their jobs correctly. They equip their children with the tools they need to understand the world around them. These people who don't want to raise their children and let everyone else do it for them can't equip their children thusly because they lack the tools themselves. You can't give your children something you don't have. That's why they get so upset at something so silly, it's because they are incapable of understanding things and panic because they're frightened little snowflakes.
