  1. Personally, I think we need dozens of justices. Now, I don't mean all sitting on the bench hearing a case at the same time, I mean a pool of justices to which only 5 are called to hear any given case and at random, to eliminate the biases of the extremes. It would make it virtually impossible for any president to essentially choose the outcomes of cases they want, plus you'd get a more balanced court without the rigging that has been done over the years. Add on top some sort of system to eliminate justices from conflicts of interest, and it'd be a lot more functional than it is now.
