  1. I don't know. Macabre as this is going to sound, I think this is a good thing. Two fold. One, it's evolution in action. If you're too stupid to listen to medical experts and social distance or self quarantine because the little man on the TV told you it was better to prop up the economy, then your death is going to improve the gene pool. And, since the people spouting this bad advice are all conservatives, it'll kill off more conservatives than liberals pulling the Overton Window back to the left. Two, the more people infected by this disease and survive means we're going to improve the human immune system, eventually to the point where another strain of this virus won't likely be anywhere near this lethal.
