  1. "I like your Christ, but not your Christianity." -Mahatma Gandhi. The whole idea of a Christian is to be a person who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, as in does what he teaches to do. Most of today's Christians might do one or two things, some none at all, and expect their belief alone to get them into heaven because good works are like filthy rags. So, they give themselves permission to be as heinous and as nasty as they wish to be and then say, "yeah, but Jesus still loves me." Let me tell you, someone can love you and still think you're an asshole. Jesus is more full of love than all of Christendom combined. Too bad they only heard the part about living forever and not the parts about being decent and kind.
