  1. When we say freedom of speech, we mean the right to say what we want, within reason, and have no criminal repercussions, IE we won't be arrested for our speech. When THEY say freedom of speech, the mean freedom from any consequences their speech might have. They want to say racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. things and not have their businesses or their livelihoods harmed\ruined. They want to be able to control how others react to what they say, and that's just not a thing.

  2.  @krisjones74  Maybe he shouldn't have said those untrue things. Is he being sued for defamation? I'm certain the loss of revenue is people unwilling to buy a product sold by a bigoted, hateful, and quite frankly insane person. A lawsuit might cripple the company.
