There's an old saying, "opinions are like buttholes. Everyone has one and it usually stinks." The thing is, there are way too many people with boisterous and totally unearned opinions. The opinion of some random guy that isn't involved in the subject they're expressing said opinion of is easily dismissed. When they dismiss someone eminently more informed on the subject is just irritating. The opinion of someone's whose job is to be informed on this issue hold way more weight than some random commentor on the internet, myself included, even if they are in agreement with your opinion.
