  1. Crowd sizes are usually measured, from least to most, a few (less than a dozen), several (around a dozen to maybe twenty), dozens (24 to less than 200). You don't say hundreds until there's at least 200 or thousands until there's at least 2,000. It's in the word, hundreds, meaning plural multiples of 100. So, at 150, dozens are correct.
