  1. It's not that white people won't pick strawberries, it's that no American citizen benefitting from labor laws is going to accept less than minimum wage to harvest fruits or vegetables. You get a Latino American and ask them to do the migrant work of undocumented Latino workers, they'd balk at it too. We've built a system that depends largely on slave labor or nearly slave labor. We don't need to make the system work this way.
