  1. My grandmother is like this. She didn't believe it when her doctor told her she had a cataract over one eye. When she was able to prove it to her, she relented. Now she's scheduled to have it removed and her reaction is, "this is the last time I let them experiment on me." It's routine surgery, easily done.
