  1. I strongly suspect Jada Pinkett Smith pushed her husband into that. Not telling him to smack Chris Rock, per se, but probably angrily whispering in his ear, "are you going to let him talk about me like that?" She's well known for being a ballbuster. She's been stepping out on Will, publicly admitting to it, and he's probably on edge. One little push is all it would take.
