  1. The issue with the political spectrum is people only see the one dimension. There are two dimensions. Left and Right, but also up (authoritarian) and down (libertarianism). There are people on the left that are authoritarian, say Joseph Stalin and there are people on the right that are libertarian, like Ron Paul.
