  1. Brown was meant to be the personification of a businesswoman. Her mannerisms, her speech. The only clothes these characters wear are shoes and gloves with the exception of Brown (whom I believe is officially referred to as Ms. Brown) who wears a pair of conservative (dress not politics) glasses. You watch basically any major businesswoman doing a presentation, it's a suit or conservative dress or skirt and jacket, and usually high heels or pumps. They're just making it a little more modern with lower heel shoes. Green wearing sneakers is also a little more modern. Women don't tend to wear high heels 24/7.
