  1. Kristi Noem is completely uncoupled from reality. It seems to be very common for Republican politicians to be so, mostly due to information siloing from places like Fox News. When they come up against reality, it really hurts them. We're seeing it more and more today because Trumpism has pushed what used to be moderate Republicans farther and farther away from reality so that, when they inevitably collide with it, it's a heavier hit.
