  1. Basic rule of thumb, don't give the police any excuse to arrest you or violate your rights. Once they say, "you're under arrest," you are under arrest. Don't resist, don't protest. You can ask why you're being arrested or ask for your lawyer while they're putting the cuffs on you. George Floyd was under arrest legally, and he resisted by going limp and falling to the ground. They had no right to put their knees on his neck, especially while handcuffed, but he gave them an excuse. Don't die for your pride people, don't give the police an excuse. It's the reason I don't flip people off in traffic no matter how bad they're driving, I don't want some psycho to run me off the road and\or shoot me.
