  1. Religious people are much more free in a secular nation than a religious one. In any nation with official religious dogma is going to attack and\or ostracize anyone who doesn't conform to said dogma. And yet, religious people, especially orthodox religious people, tend to want to take this secular freedom and force others to conform to their own orthodoxy, not realizing apparently that such a thing might bite them in the backside. Hell, the Puritans left England to escape persecution, eventually came to the new world, and then promptly established their own restrictive religious orthodoxy. It's not a surprise at all Ben Shapiro is a hypocrite, all religiously dogmatic people are.
