This man isn't defending a client in a court of law, he's, as David Pakman keeps calling them, a TV lawyer. He's defending his client on TV. No facts, no evidence, no procedure, no judge. He can say ANYTHING he wants here. He gets in court and tries this, he'll be held in contempt. He has nothing, that's why he's waffling the way he is.
