  1. Comparing this to Maury Povich or Jerry Springer would be an insult... to Maury Povich and Jerry Springer. They at least have the decency to let you know up front that it's a salacious exploitation type show. Dr. Phil pretends to be a genuine mental health show. And he's the worst! If anyone needs mental health assistance it's Phil McGraw (I refuse to call him Dr. Phil, my earlier reference was to the show name, not the host.)
