  1. The Republican party has become lazy thinkers. They don't even try to reach middle America anymore, the people who aren't fully on the left or the right. They only appeal to the extremists in their base to the exclusion of literally anyone else. We can't run a nation for the 5% of crazies who the other 95% disagree with, not without ending in a bloody revolution.
