  3. Thanks to propaganda outlets and a general anti-intellectual movement, it's no wonder the right doesn't know what anything is. They don't know what socialism, communism, democracy, or fascism are. They just know they're on Team Republican and what the cheerleaders are shouting. There isn't a critical or considered thought in the entire movement. There used to be, and they had generally bad ideas, but they did critical analysis and considered their positions hoping compromise would fall more to their favor. Now it's just stopping everything and demanding everything they want or burn it all down.
