  1. For crying out loud, do we have to teach people what an apology is? Three parts to a proper apology. 1) Admission of wrongdoing. 2) Asking forgiveness. 3) Promise to reform said behavior or make amends for said behavior. Saying, "I'm sorry if..." isn't an apology, apologies are not conditional.
