What they aren't saying aloud is that having high employment is bad for the economy specifically for the ultra-wealthy. It's great for the average person. It means productivity is high, goods and services are affordable, and customer confidence is steady. It also means the wealthy are spending more of their money to keep this all going, or as I like to call it, win-win. Hoarding wealth is something dragons do in fairy tales and usually results in said dragon being slain. Doing the same in real life just hurts everyone long term, wealthy included.
