  1. It really seems that hypocrisy is the defining characteristic of the modern Republican party. There isn't even one Republican politician in this nation that isn't severely guilty of hypocrisy, and yet have zero shame about it. What's worse is that the typical Republican voter is perfectly fine with the hypocrisy. They'll even excuse it by saying things like, "well, at least they're not a Democrat!"
