  1. I'm not likely the first to come to this conclusion, but I'd say the conservative movement is more obsessed with identity than they claim the left is. I've seen enough hyper-sensitive SJW types that freak out over incidental misgendering and the like to understand why the right uses this stereotype as a cudgel every chance they can. Even so, don't you find it more than a little ironic they're the ones asking these questions and obsessing over identity? One group says identity is not distinctly tied to any circumstances of birth while the other is saying it only can be, forever, no changing, not even with surgery. Which of these two sounds more obsessed?
