  1. Retail isn't dying, it's being moved. Moved from brick-and-mortar stores to online retailers like Amazon. It's not good for a few reasons, one of which is Amazon pays very little and is operating more by machine than by manual labor. Good for bottom lines, bad for real economic growth as people who work get paid and then buy stuff. Money is like water, and the super-rich are damming that river to swim in it Scrooge McDuck style while the rest of us are getting fucked.
