  1. When it comes to both Bush and Netanyahu, I doubt it was malice that allowed their respective attacks. Both men were and are incredibly incompetent ideologues and probably just chalked the reports up to fearmongering. The report had Bush telling whomever it was that told him Bin Laden determined to attack in the U.S., "okay, you've covered your ass," or something to that effect. I imagine Netanyahu had a similar exchange, brushing off the report because he believes he's a military genius.
