  1. This strategy inherently has diminishing results. Look at the events following 9/11. All of America was in a panic. Fear, anger, and hate were on the news 24/7. How long did it take for people to become used to it? How long did it take for them to become numb to it? Fear, anger, and hate may be powerful motivators, but they are inherently quick response motivators. Fear makes us ready to run or fight, to protect ourselves from danger. If you have the same fear, the same danger presented constantly with no results on trying to stop it, it starts to lose its effectiveness. It's like the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and they're the ones screaming about wolves.
