  1. Remember, any functionary of the government propped up in front of a camera to spout insincerity about some governmental action isn't there to provide proof or to genuinely answer questions. They're there to obfuscate and to placate their base, which this clip provides. Just telling us, people who already know the truth, that they're lying is almost literally preaching to the choir. In other words, functionally useless.
