  1. There's another explanation. Maybe the ideas you're championing just aren't as viable as you think. We can't really know why one candidate is failing or not doing as well as expected, there are just too many variables involved. Try modulating or pulling back on some of the radical changes you're proposing and see where that gets you. Hard line bomb throwing tends to turn people off.
