  1. This is something where just compensation is fine. Being that this is a public health emergency and not vaccinating or leaving a large enough number of people unvaccinated will result in more death which will result in, for the pharmaceutical companies, less profit to be had. This is a case where generosity on behalf of the pharmaceutical company isn't just necessary, it's logical and wise too. Since these corporations are incapable of such acts, the government needs to step in and regulate this.
