Every person can be measured as a pair of piles. One pile is all the good things one did, and the other is all the bad things one did. The greatest saint isn't pure good, and the greatest villain isn't pure evil. Most of us are a medium pile of good and a small pile of bad. When it comes to Hitler or any of history's greatest villains, the pile of good is so massively outweighed by the pile of bad that it's not even worth mentioning what good they did. People mentioning the Autobahn or Volkswagen are unbelievably ignoring the millions of people he was responsible for and the attempted genocide of the Jewish people.
