While I think these changes would be good in the sort-term, I am dubious that it would continue having the effect he's suggesting long-term. Like, starting next cycle we're going to triple the number of representatives. Okay, it would be hard to get enough warm bodies from the sort of pool they're usually drawn from, but after a few cycles, the same sorts would start migrating to that pool. Paying them more but removing their stock trading abilities certainly would stop some of the money siphoning and coupled with more reps would ease the amount of glorification, there'd still be a ton of glory hogs and the infighting would be way worse. You can't have two dozen MTGs and not have a massive scrum in the well of the house. It IS nice to see someone on the right trying to make the situation better though. More of this.
