  1. It's all going to collapse at some point. The ever increasing wealth at the top being siphoned from the ever shrinking middle class, the constant power struggles and electioneering, the complete disregard for the health of its citizenry and the planet we all live on, it's going to come crashing down because it's wholly unsustainable. Once it does, we can hopefully pick ourselves up and start over, or we can try and fix things now. Problem is, the way I'm describing from the left is similar to how they're describing things from the right only using social issues and identity politics gone amuck. Can't fix things if we can't all first agree what's broken.
