I have a friend who is a staunch Republican and he was the one telling me when Trump ran in 2016 that he was worried how much he sounded like a modern Hitler then.

@drugmoney4996 He's acting like Hitler circa 1930, before he managed to claim power. This is what Hitler acted like before he got out of prison angrier, more bitter, and with a serious chip on his shoulder. It's not absurd at all, it's quite apt and we need to quit pretending it's not.
