  1. I used to like Bill Maher. He'd say a lot of things I agreed with. Then he started making ridiculous statements and confidently say things that are knowably untrue. He's become the king of guy that, if I'm making a point and he's next to me agreeing with me boisterously, I'd want to take him aside and tell him to stay off my side. He's a living example of the adage, "a little knowledge is dangerous." He knows enough to be right on some issues, but it's incidentally, not through careful research. He knows as much as I do, and I'm no expert on anything.
