  1. The problem with economic theories is that the majority of them aren't theories at all, they're ideology with cherry-picked data to back them up. A theory is a model that fits the available evidence, and, again, the majority of them, at best, only fit a small portion of the evidence, and at worst, fit only the tiniest portion of evidence.
