If I built a time machine, went back in time, showed our founding fathers all the information we have about Trump, how he abused the presidency, Republicans ignoring their constitutional duty to protect him, and ask them if a criminal should be able to avoid prosecution by becoming president via a corrupt system, I imagine all hell would break loose. I mean, obviously the technology would be stupefying to them, but after the shock wears off, they'd not be in favor of what our nation has devolved into and would likely make changes to ensure they don't.
