  1. The communication companies formed little fiefdoms so that they didn't have to directly compete, which allows them to charge extreme prices and offer little to no genuine benefits. Meanwhile, in genuinely capitalist nations (not corporatist nations like we are), these sorts of companies must compete with each other, driving down costs and forcing companies to offer incentives such as larger bandwidth, higher data caps, that sort of thing. Which nation has the fastest internet? South Korea. Should we really be just allowing South Korea be able to have that much competitive power in the world market without challenging it here?
