  1. I mean, who, other than politics wonks, watched the debate? If they saw anything about it, it was from clips which were chosen to make one candidate look better than the other. The left saw J.D. Vance try to talk over the moderator while complaining there wasn't supposed to be fact checking, the right saw Tim Walz looking nervous and all the times he agreed with Vance's framing. Nobody swayable in either direction actually watched the debate.
