  1. Would a genuine straight pride parade be such a bad thing? Obviously, this wasn't one, it was a conservative attack on a perceived threat to their supposed supremacy. But, honestly, would a group of people marching to celebrate their heterosexuality be bad? Personally, and I don't hate anyone based on his or her sexuality, I think gay pride parades are silly and sometimes dip into the vulgar. How many times have we seen a group in these parades that would have been arrested for indecent exposure had they been dressed in such a way outside the parade? These parades are completely anti-productive. People who hate homosexuals aren't going to have their minds changed by even the tamest parade, and people who don't shouldn't be celebrating something they didn't choose to be. Can't we just be what we are and go on with our lives and not need people to celebrate us for random traits?
