I just need to point out that the idea of the alpha male was a mistaken observation by a zoologist studying wolves, one he has been trying to correct for years. Popular (read unrealistic) psychology tried to graft that mistaken label onto humans. One, there are no alpha male wolves. Two, even if there were, humans are primates, no canines, and there absolutely are no alpha males in primates. Finally, the "there are only two gender" crowd are trying to tell us that maleness is a spectrum. I'd laugh at the irony if it wasn't so extremely pathetic.
