  1. My basic thought on celebrities voicing their political opinions publicly is this: "Why should I care what <insert celebrity> thinks about <insert political issue>?" They're perfectly free to voice their opinions, but when it comes to policies, most celebrities are just followers, not nearly bright enough to understand what they're parroting. Not all, but most. I don't make decisions on what any random celebrity has to say about any issue. We wouldn't accept their opinions on virtually any other topic, why should we on politics?
