  1. Mathematics in general and statistics specifically aren't well understood in this nation. But there's also the difference between fact and opinion not being well understood in this nation. Understanding math and statistics well aren't going to move the needle if people don't understand the difference between fact an opinion. I've literally heard someone say that their opinions are fact and other people's facts are just opinion. How do you fix that level of stupidity?
