What material effect will her leaving really have? It's not like Trump is now going to hire an incorruptible paragon of virtue to be the new press secretary. If anything, he might get someone who's far better at lying and selling lies. At best, we'll be right off where we were when she was the press secretary, and at worst, we'll have someone more able to get away with lies. As to her becoming governor... Her father was, and that name recognition will open doors it wouldn't for you or me. It could happen, and would likely be just as big a disaster.
