  6. ​ @simonshotter8960 pretty sure they ESCORT carriers & hunt down then DESTROY the enemy for the US Carrier Strike Groups... Hence the name destroyer. Yes a single destroyer may patrol an area but that's because of their ability to neutralize others ships. They're not the Coast Guard patrolling their own waters with other ships or aircraft just minutes away. Whatever you call them the only thing you don't want to hear is one of them is in your AO looking for you. That's certainly NOT a good day.

  9. 3:50 f that!! Most RN & medics are unable to start an IV without a freaking screen telling them where to go & LED showing the best location... ALREADY! Technology is GREAT don't get me wrong, it CAN be quicker & more precise but only learning how to do everything with it is setting people up for failure when it's unavailable for whatever reason. Learn how to do things without it so you're just better/faster with it & not incompetent without it. In a generation we've gone from requiring a med student to start a IV using sight &/or feel to being reliant on technology! FEW first responders know how to do both, MANY haven't started a IV in a living human! I've had to lay in a hospital bed waiting for "THE RN" on shift that everyone knows & can start a IV, usually someone from the ED... Like they're not busy enough. MOST foor RN don't even bother to try if it's a hard stick, IF they try it's 2x then they give up! Scary! 🤦👀❗ I GUARANTEE future soldiers will die unnecessarily. They'll be told "If you're hit/injured just play dead until medics arrive." Medics taught to rely & trust technology then watch a screen to determine who to treat first will leave guys to die or be executed because a bad connection or dead battery... Imagine twisting a ankle & laying there until a enemy POS wanders across you, realizes your all good except for said ankle then blows you to Kingdom Come!
