What do you think about the father & son who were imbedded with a squad for the documentary "The Hornets Nest" (I think that was it.. if not I'm sure you've seen it) was definitely a great documentary but sad also, as one guy was K.I.A. & fell down a cliff. Seeing the squad collect him & get him ready for air lift back to base as somberly & delicately while still taking fire & fighting back was very moving & I haven't watched it without shedding tears myself. You can tell how close they'd gotten & how deeply it effected them all.

  51. Why is no one realising that even new sewage systems use gravity to work? I get not everyone is a plumber/GC but hello! Like us they used to drain sewage INTO a water source (not a great idea but obviously we've learned a lot and engineering has come a long way since then?) only now we treat it first. So Chicago being basically at sea level (as he stated) ment they couldn't just dig below the street, oops I ment "errr the fuckin street' (sorry bud 👍) as you can't drain it without pumps as places like New Orleans etc. have to as well as install check valves. (these fittings fitted inline prevent fluid from going the other way which would of caused more problems many worse) Obviously without the electrical system and many other technology we have today this wouldn't be possible therefore the only real solution was to raise the streets or run pipes above ground on a pitch 1/4" per 12" which if far away would soon be overhead and any new construction past even higher. This exact equation is actually a pretty important slope as less will cause the poo to sit in the pipe and more will cause the liquids to run too fast, again leaving many forms of poo (like after Taco Bell or lots of chocolate.. you get the idea) to sit in the pipe dry and lead to clogging it. Again this exact slope used today was learned over time. Obviously down pipes are a different story as well there's no way poo is going to get stuck going straight down and if it does its only going to build up so much till the pressure of the water above forces it thru and cleans the pipe. Anyway this is why this was the only real/good solution. Unless someone finds a way to do much more than change the flow of a river but lower the entire oceans level which I'd love to hear if you find one as would many people. Just to explain to those who don't fully understand plumbing, now you have the knowledge as far as slope for your own sewage project.

I bought 12 pairs at once 2-3 of each in OD, black, coyote, & charcoal/aka (black in 100 washes) at once another 10 pairs 2-3 yrs ago so 22 in all, some are still unopened &/or the type before they were even coated. So in OVER 6 YEARS besides being faded from AT LEAST 800 WASHES (some probably more but I don't want to b.s. anyone) I have only one pair I managed to break the zipper on (by not unzipping/unbuttoning them while putting them on & taking them off being larger than I for obvious reasons.) another I ripped on a spare band saw blade BUT they still kept my pecker from emerging & accidentally embarrassing me/traumatizing someone (Yes, I know tiny as it is yeah yeah thanks, I got it.) so useable unlike the zipper ones. damn blade. Those went to painting inside my house & tossed after. So perfectly fine except for that & paint covered. Point being.. Their defiantly worth the money. From carpentry to the range some just used for painting & tossed ONLY because I have way too many pants & not enough room & their are small holes etc. again I still have ones wrapped & packed somewhere. I have at least one of each on here all more expensive than them at $150+ with better this or that yes. BUT BY COST/WEAR TO WORK SHOOT ETC. & NOT CARE IF YOU CAN DESTROY THEM LAPG WIN. Sorry. I'm sure I'll hear it, but I DIDN'T say their the best overall simply cost/use aspect you just cant beat them. Certainly one of the 6-8 pairs of LAPG you can get for one pair of the $150 ones will last/look better in 6 years, no?! Less your in basic 6 years crawling in the mud daily BUT then there's a different problem we need to address here... If I had one pair to wash & wear daily for the 6 years I'd pick different, my pecker & nuts certainly showing then & devastating lives forever as I go as my 1 pair is in the wash, & I gotta get ammo or Gatorade...Ha! The driver was trying to get free a good 10 minutes before the gates started coming down then he just got out of the truck & far away that was a sight those trailers are thick heavy duty steel & it looked like a clay model after. Train & everyone riding was ok though.
