  4. you reprocess the waste since 90% of the energy is still in the waste. then the much smaller volume goes in to storage casks and buried deep underground. if someone " finds" it a thousand years from now they will deal with it no problem.

  6. military spending can take many forms. like doubling the size of the army by just issuing rifles without buying armor etc. so we know the threat . i would suggest more eu countries acquire nukes. looks like iran will have them because of north korea for instance. and it's the potential ultimate defense against russia if you are willing to use them. that means having enough of them and being H bombs so that russia will see it as a credible threat. so EU countries could just spend the money on nukes which may be the best bang for the bucks. us, uk and france may not like it but too bad.

  14.  @darthmaul8912  yes the jets only need to be able to outmatch the russians which can't afford to build many of the top planes. they don't have to outmatch the F35 . hell update the grippen which is pretty cheap in comparison. that would be a good plane for the baltics due to being able to operate from roads and having low maintenance.

  15. finland has gift in that their land is not open steppe like in ukraine. many physical barriers. ukrainian steppes are a great source of agricultural wealth but a huge deficit for defense against tanks and other military vehicles. and putin realizes this and apparently has sounded reasonable to finlands president on the phone. or is it just bullshit

  16. if it's a small weapon then it will kill limited numbers and then all of anto will go in and destroy the russian forces in ukraine . but i fear he may use a thermonuclear missile and destroy Kiyv . target would be zelensky's compound. probably kill over a million people initially them more in the weeks after.
